Five rules, and one village
No founding story and no claim about how many years anybody has been doing this. What is worth judging a removals firm on is how it plans, who turns up and what it declines.
We survey before we quote
Somebody walks the house, opens the cupboards and stands in the road before a number exists. A price given from a room count is a guess, and guesses get revised on the day.
We protect before we carry
Floors, frames, thresholds and glass, at both ends, before anything moves. In a village house the fabric is frequently worth more than the furniture crossing it.
We work at the pace the house needs
A period staircase and a chest that has not moved in forty years do not reward speed. The quote reflects the hours the house actually needs rather than the hours we would prefer.
One crew, start to finish
The people who pack are the people who deliver. No handover, nobody arriving who has never seen the inventory.
We refer what we should
Clearance, pianos, safes, clock movements, and local-only work in Harrow, Northwood and Ruislip. Saying so costs the occasional booking and saves a bad day.
Why Pinner is its own job
A village centre laid out before lorries. Houses whose fabric deserves as much care as their contents. Furniture that arrived with the house. And a Metropolitan-line rhythm that decides what time a street is workable.
None of that is difficult. All of it is specific, and a firm that treats HA5 as a generic suburb will discover each of them in the wrong order.
On price
